Aldaco's

Did you know?

“The Tres Leches cake, first introduced
to San Antonio diners by Blanca Aldaco...has in its own right evolved into the must-have dessert of the city’s Mexican restaurants, surpassing even the flan of the Spanish inspiration.”
Ron Bechtol, Fiesta magazine

Tres Leches Cake - Aldaco's. None of the city's Tres Leches cakes compares with the one made by Blanca Aldaco. To the best of our knowledge, Aldaco was the first to serve this treat, in her original restaurant on Commerce Street. Aldaco's offers a variety of flavors, but the original with its three milks is classically good and our favorite.      San Antonio Express News, Karen Haram & John Griffin, SavorSa.com   October 12, 2009
